Nicki Mayne is a British figurative painter based in Brighton. Nicki studied fine art painting at Kingston University and has exhibited in Sussex, Bristol and London.
Painting mainly from life, Nicki is currently working on a series of paintings from the human figure, enjoying the physicality of oil paint and the subtleties of colour and texture she can achieve. Her influences include David Bomberg, Lucian Freud and Jenny Saville.
